I've always wanted to blog on the go... Problem was Blogger wasn't available for my country...

Finally I pursued to find an APK and sideload it and this is the first post.

When I got my condo at the Fort i've always thought the view it had was nice. One of the reason I took it.

Tonight, the Rihanna and Chris Brown concert was in town and the sounds were so loud that I can hear it all the way to my place! AND I can see the concert (thanks to those giant monitors) with the help of my new telephoto lens. :)

My New Notebook!

After years of not buying a new PC, I finally bought a new notebook quenching my thirst for a dual-core, Vista OS, 2GB RAM, 200GB HD, entertainment machine! So far so good. I haven't completed my setup yet. It has most of the bells and whistles I find useful. Webcam, fingerprint reader, memory card slots, 15.4' glossy screen, Altec Lansing sounds, DVD Lightscribe drive and a TV tuner to connect it to the TV/Cable and record shows/videos!

Trying hard not to spend countless hours on setting it up though... surely, i'd have the time one of these weekends. Not big problem yet but Vista and IE is giving me some problems already. Not to mention, the dangers of being online really requires good spyware and virus protection. I didn't have to deal with that with my office PC which is fairly well protected.

Net! Good buy for me so far. I've been looking for this kind of an entertainment inclined notebook. It is not for those who want a light and portable notebooks though. HP's TX1000 is your alternative which I also considered given that it was ultraportable and can be a tablet PC.

Chicago Air and Water Show Weekend!

I went again to Chicago this weekend... this time with Marge, Alex, Dennis, Bondz, Ermel and Shar with our ever gracious hosts My and Bai (former P&G collegues). We had a great time even the bummer rainy weather during that weekend. Here are the best pics from our trip!

Woh! Vegas and the World Series of Poker

I came for an SAP seminar, I met some stars! For those of you who'd been playing poker and have watched some of the tournaments on TV @ ESPN2, then definitely you'd know this guy! Phil Hellmuth, one of the best players in the world and the record WSOP bracelet holder with 11 (he just overtook Doyle Brunson in this months events).

Made my week to see them there in Las Vegas in action. Not only Phil but also all the big names - Greg Raymer, Daniel Negranu, Doyle and Todd Brunson, Chris Ferguson, Mike Matusow, Annie Duke, Howard Lederer, Phil Ivey, Barry, Mike Sexton, Menn "The Master", John Juanda, and Scotty Nguyen.

Chicago Wizard World - My First Comic Convention

This past weekend, we decided to spend it in Chicago. We went to the Wizard World which was a comic convention where anything sci-fi participates - comics, shows, movies, card games, anime, etc. It was my first time to attend such an event and I really was there to see attendees who come in costumes! We weren't disappointed as we saw a lot of people in costumes... and some of them i'd say were really good! Wizard World Weekend

This weekend I went back to Chicago with some friends/neighbors here in Cincinnati. There was a comic con named Wizard World that is happening that weekend. I thought it would be a new experience for me to go to such an event I've only seen on TV. The attraction for me were the fans who went dressed up as various sci-fi/game characters.
